Learning Environment – Kindergarten

Kindergarten is a structured, play-based program led by a university qualified teacher, for children in the years before they attend school.

Children are encouraged to participate in both individual and group activities from a wide variety of learning experiences in order to learn about themselves and the world around them. The flexible program includes fine and gross motor development, science-technology-engineering-mathematics (STEM) development, social relationships, language and literacy development, environmental awareness, artistic development, music and the dramatic arts, sensory exploration and discovery. Our Early Learning Language of choice is Japanese. We have a well developed transition to Primary School program that spans over the year, enabling the children to be confident when embarking on the next stage of their education.
